Ashwood Children's Centre acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work, live and play,
the Wurundjeri peoples of the Kulin Nations, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
Sovereignty has never been ceded and this was and always will be First Nations' land.

We appreciate and celebrate diversity in all its forms. We believe diversity of all kinds makes our community stronger
Communication
Ashwood Children's Centre provides parents with a daily communication sheet that provides information on the following:

What their child ate for the day;
Toileting patterns;
Sleep-times of the child;
Activities their child participated in;
Handwritten “gems” about your child’s day.
This also provides an area where parents can feedback information about their child’s night or their child’s wellbeing.
We prepare a newsletter each term with general information about the centre, each room, recipes from the kitchen and other useful information.
Parent Teacher/Parent Educator interviews are provided three times per year.

An annual survey is also completed by the parent on the general status & practices of the Centre.
